Pakuranga Young Mariners
We are friendly group of girls and parents that meet at the Pakuranga Sailing Club in Farm Cove on Thursday nights between 6 pm and 7.30 pm, and approximately every alternative Sunday (times are dependent on high tide).
During summer we spend most of our time on the water, while during winter we focus more on rigging, sailing rules, and badge work. We also participate in the Pakuranga winter sailing series that runs for 8 weekends over winter. Other recent highlights include going to the movies, rock climbing, camping and tubing down the Waikato river.
